About me.

Kia ora, I’m Tomasin — a UX and Service Designer based in Wellington, passionate about creating inclusive, intuitive, and meaningful digital experiences.

With a Master’s in User Experience Design and a background in anthropology, I bring a deep curiosity for people and culture to every project I work on. My design practice is guided by empathy, accessibility, and intersectional inclusivity — principles I believe are essential to building experiences that genuinely serve everyone.

I’ve worked across research, prototyping, and user testing, including co-designing a Health Equity Framework for Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. Currently, I support digital product improvement as a UAT and BVT Coordinator at Bluecurrent AU/NZ, where I collaborate with teams to ensure new systems and workflows meet real user needs.

Beyond my professional work, I’m a passionate digital artist and storyteller, exploring how creativity and design can shape how people connect and learn. Whether I’m designing interfaces, mapping journeys, or testing new ideas, I’m driven by curiosity, compassion, and a desire to make technology feel more human.

My design practice

My background in anthropology shapes how I approach design — with empathy, curiosity, and a focus on understanding people. I’m passionate about accessibility and believe it should be a natural part of every design decision, creating experiences that truly include everyone.
